- 1 cup Rolled Oats
- 1 cup Plain Flour
- 1 cup Light Brown Sugar
- 1/2 cup Desiccated Coconut
- 125gm Butter
- 2 tbs Golden Syrup
- 1 tab Water
- 1/2 teas Bicarb of Soda
- Preheat oven to 160deg C
- Combine Oats, Syrup, Sugar and Coconut in a bowl
- Melt Butter, Syrup and Water in a small saucepan over low heat
- Add Bicarb of Soda, this will bubble and rise
- Add wet mixture into the dry and mix until well combined
- Spoon level teaspoons of the mixture onto the baking trays
- Press to flatten, to approx 3 inches
- Bake for 20 min. Allow to cool on tray if possible
