Slow Cooker Chicken Stew

  • 1/3 cup GF Flour
  • 1/2 teas Salt
  • Dash Pepper
  • 2 breast fillets of Chicken diced
  • 3 tabs Butter (I used home flavoured)
  • 2 medium onions sliced
  • 3 Celery sticks sliced
  • 2 large Potatoes diced
  • 3 large Carrot sliced
  • 2 Chicken Stock cubes crushed
  • 1/2 teas Thyme dried
  • 1 tab Tomato Sauce (I used home made)
  1. Flour the Chicken in batches until all coated
  2. Place butter in skillet and add Chicken, cook until sealed
  3. Place in slow cooker
  4. Add more butter to skillet, add onion and celery, cook until soft, add to slow cooker
  5. Add more butter to skillet, add potatoes and carrot, cook until softening, add to slow cooker
  6. Mix tomato sauce, thyme, cubes and some water into a bowl and add to slow cooker
  7. Cook on slow until ready to eat.
  8. Serve with green leafy salad.
