Time to re-stock up the freezer

We had a very exciting road trip in the US, and have some amazing pics to share.

It is however, time to settle back down, re-stock the freezer, and get back to reality. So, today, I have cleaned out the pantry, put on a large saucepan of beef soup.  I have some butter softening in prep for some cookies.  Milo Bars exactly !

 

MILO BARS

  • 1/2 cup self-raising flour
  • 1/2 cup plain flour
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 2/3 cup shredded coconut
  • 2/3 cup brown sugar firmly packed
  • 1/2 cup Milo
  • 1 egg whisked
  • 125 g butter melted
  1. Combine dry ingredients.
  2. Mix in butter, egg and stir well.
  3. Press mixture into greased and lined slice tray. (18 x 28 cm Slice Pan)
  4. Bake at 180C for 15-20 minutes.
